Internship
We are always looking for voluntary interns who want to support our activities. As we cannot offer any payment, we make sure that you have an interesting and stimulating internship in our association, which corresponds to your interests and skills. It is possible to do a block internship as well as internships, which accompany your studies for different periods of time.
In our association we can assure potential trainees that we will not use you for copying, making coffee and mailing letters; Rather, you will be responsible for particular projects and activities so that you earn references and skills that will help you personally and professionally in the future. In addition, you can expect a good and open working atmosphere in which your ideas and your enthusiasm will be accepted and appreciated.
Currently we are looking for individuals, who
- can help us apply for EU-projects
- are able to support us in the optimization of our quality, finance and project management
- can make enquiries about, and can work well with, our diverse target groups (young people, refugees, migrants, older people, the long-term unemployed)
- can help with introduction of knowledge management
- are able to help oversee and organise committees
- are able to prepare the intercultural film series in the late autumn
- can extend and improve our web presentation
- can aid us to gain new members and sponsors
- are willing to collaborate on PR work (public relations work) and the organization of events
Internships are also possible in the following areas for:
- lifelong learning and creation of new and additional educational opportunities for everyone
- creation of more and better jobs
- the student exchange programme, the people connecting youth welfare work and youth projects
- support in the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people (e.g. socially disadvantaged young people, older people, migrants, people with disabilities, long-term unemployed people, less qualified people)
- equal rights for men and women and of family-friendly policies in society and the world of work
- intercultural learning and inter-cultural competence, tolerance and variety as well as to counteract racism and hostility to strangers
- regional development of the network and cooperation between activists in the economy, society, culture and the job market
- the use of new information and communication technologies and audio-visual media for everyone
- cultural events and cultural variety as well as of access to these for everyone
- engaged citizens in general and in particularly, for their participation in the EU, sensitization of relevant people and of the public for EU policies
- improvement in inter-generational communication, knowledge transfer and working and living together
- sensitisation for sustainable trade and management
