The Board
The Board of "Gemeinsam leben und lernen in Europa e. V." consists of at least one chairman/ chairwomen, two representatives as well as one treasurer. The Board is elected at the General Meeting by the full members for a period of two years. Full individual members of the association can be elected.
Full-time employees cannot be elected for positions in the association.
The current board
The board is composed of the following members:
1. Chairman: Toni Fischer, Branch Manager of the Job Centre, Zwiesel
2. Chairman: Konrad Niederländer, Managing Director Job Centre, Freyung-Grafenau
3. Chairwoman: Tammy Hendrickx, Art Teacher
4. Treasurer: Albena Sotirova, student, Passau
Tasks and responsibilities of the board
Among other things, these include the following:
- Determining and realization of the guidelines for the association's work
- Management of day-to-day running of the association
- Creation and management of an appropriate management organization
- Conclusion and cancelling of contract of employment, fee contract or service contract for taking on and recalling managers
- Judicial and out-of-court representation of the association
- Execution of the decisions of the General Meeting
- In collaboration with the advisory board, decision-making with regard to definite affirmative actions and support measures as well as for artistic, scientific, educational and relevant job market events at the regional, national and international level, and other measures
- The board can establish committees for tracking the aims of the association. People or institutions can be involved in these committees who are not members of the association. The Board must publish news about the activities of these committees in the annual management report
