Working method
Discrimination and inequality usually cannot be fought sustainably by single activists, but require extensive and feasible solutions in cooperation with a variety of socially involved groups. The main emphasis of our work is, therefore, to initiate cooperations, activities and projects among the different individuals and organizations which are all working to eliminate discrimination and inequality, wherever it appears. Available resources can be concentrated and made more easily available and, by working together, innovative solutions can perhaps be developed. At the same time, the association is a neutral partner whose main goal is mutual benefit of all cooperating groups.
To achieve the purpose and the aim of the association, the association works among other things on achieving the following goals:
- Creating a regional information and communication platform
- Creating more efficient cooperation structures
- Organizing and supporting discussions, lectures, workshops, conferences, festivals as well as training offers and further training for relevant groups or individuals, affected people, specialists and for interested members of the public
- Maintenance and support of organizations and projects to implement these goals and aims. As a result, the association cooperates with other associations, groups, initiatives, organizations and other activists.
- Study and research projects which deal with discrimination and inequality
- Publication and documentation of information
- Information and sensitisation campaigns and specific public relations work
- Support of exchange of information and know-how as well as the investigation, development, testing and distribution of innovative drafts and attempts to combat discrimination and inequality on regional, national and European levels
The main emphasis of the activities and projects of the association is in eastern Bavaria. However, if possible, it is our desire to also engage in activities and cooperations with German as well as with European partners.
Our charitable organization is independent and not tied to any particular political party or religious denomination.
